My name is Chris Klop, and I am KW Building Design. Here, you and I work together, giving your small residential projects the custom design they deserve.

For over ten years I have gained invaluable experience in both architectural and structural engineering firms. Being involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from additions and renovations, to townhomes, apartments, and large commercial and industrial developments, I have a in-depth understanding of a variety of construction and design techniques and principles used across Western Canada. I completed the Architectural Building Technology program at BCIT in 2015, with a focus on the architectural electives. My education, along with the extensive real-world work experience has helped me form a design process that is inspired by the beauty and creativity that is architecture, and root those ideas in a practical and real-world environment.

Small does not mean boring. To me, small means detailed. Honest. Economical. Efficient. Well planned. When you decide to go small, you decide to focus on what matters.
